Biography

Anna Kantanen-Bouazza is a multidisciplinary designer whose work comprises interiors, staging, set design, and occasionally custom made objects.

Growing up in Helsinki Anna has always been drawn to a variety of landscapes and shapes. Her work is rarely defined within the frames of her cultural heritage and she takes pride in showcasing bold colors and styles. With an emphasis on everyday life - she explores the space between form and function, creating objects and interiors that are both playful, tasteful and poetic.

Anna holds a BA from Jewellery design at Lahti Institute of Applied Science and an MA from Aalto University of art and Design. After establishing her design studio 2016, focusing at first on handmade ceramics Anna made herself a name among high-end restaurants with her tableware. Thereafter she moved on to Interior design and staging, realising this was her passion. Anna has since then provided spatial solutions and image content for a variety of customers.
